Mountain House 5k Fun Run

Wicklund Running club had a great showing at the Mountain House 5k fun Run. Stephen Howard, Casey Howard, Max Gibbard, Alex Castellano, and Maribel Barroeta all ran in the 5k and did extremly well. Zavia Hall ran in the 1/2 mile run and did great too. I ran as well and did better than last years run. For those interested still in running club you may still join and we are going to try and run in another 5k in October in Stockton, Ca.

Volleyball Starting

For all 7th and 8th graders interested in playing volleyball this year there will be a meeting in room 208 on Monday September 15th. We will go over expectations and when tryouts and practices will be held.

All right it's time to start volleyball both for Physical Education and for an after school sport. I have coached volleyball for the last 6 years now and played since the 7th grade and think this is a great sport. The USA faired very well this year in the Olympics and there was almost too much volleyball to watch. If you missed it though here is a highlight reel...

Running Club

On Thursday September 5th running club got off to a great start with more participants than last year and we had a great run around campus. The run for the ribbon in Tracy is no more so we will have to train hard to get ready for the Mountain House 5k on September 20th.
